NVA Tire Sandals Vietnam

Neat pair of Vietnamese tire sandals as used by the NVA.  I have no provenance on them other than I found two pair of them at a flea market, that they are made from vintage tires and inter tubes, and most likely are from Viet Nam.  I really don't know if they were made during the war.  They are about a size 8US.  In excellent condition.
